When ever I take my Subaru in for an oil change at Moss Alley, I'm sure of three important things: 1) they do quality work, 2) they give me updates on how my car is doing in general and what I should consider addressing in the future, and 3) they never try to sell me parts or services I don't need, ie, I trust their advice and take confidence they have my best interests (and my car's best interest) at heart. another happy experience at moss alley! my 1989 toyota landcruiser needed a new muffler, which would normally be pretty straight forward. in this case there were a few extenuating circumstances that made the installation somewhat difficult and more time consuming than originally estimated to be. they called me regularly to update me on the status and even apologized for taking longer than anticipated, even though the challenges had nothing to do with anything on their end.

The Moss Alley team of techs and staff are always responsive, informative and affordable. They look at the big picture and understand the little details. When I bring in my car, or when I pick it up, or even call in with a question, they give me honest and complete information so I can make informed decisions. Not to mention they're really good at the work they do: fixing cars. My family has been going to them for years. I trust them and recommend them to anyone looking for a great neighborhood shop to take care of all their car care needs.

I love my little TL, in spite of the little dings and scratches. Moss Alley took great care of me and my car and I am looking forward to returning!

Moss Alley has provided me with great, knowledgeable, prompt, respectful and to the point service for so many years I cannot even recall when I started using them. But they were in a different location. So this must mean at least 15 years. They are cost conscious for the customer without shortcuts. I had a warning light that suddenly came on for my gas tank. So I took it to them . To have it evaluated was $90. So I just asked what it could be. They suggested screwing my gas cap on until it clicked. This corrected the warning light problem. I did not know I needed to turn the cap this hard. This warning had never shown up before in the 8 years I had it. So, they saved me $90 and my time for my car being in the shop. They also always know my name, even when I returned from not using them for about 6 years due how much time I was spending on the east side. Plus they are in my neighborhood so I can walk there. They are truly a honest car shop. Check them out, you will be glad you did.

again, wouldn't go anywhere else. i referred one of my co-workers to go there and he did and was pleased by his first visit.

As usual, timely, efficient and fairly priced service. I like the fact that I have been using Moss Alley for close to 20 years and know the staff and they know me.

the only place i go for an oil change, service needs, you name it, i call or stop by here first. never will go anywhere else.

Fair, good prices, extra effort. No discrimination against women, even middle-aged women who know nothing about cars. No disdain for older cars either. I feel lucky this business is in Seattle. If it weren't, I'd dump my car.
